Mr. Alphonso Manasseh Samuel, Sr.

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend

With profound love and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Alphonso M. Samuel, Sr., who entered into eternal rest at the age of 82 on February 19, 2025, at his home in Dayton, Texas. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that he is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Born is the Village of Swetes, St. Paul’s Parish, Antigua, on October 4, 1942, Alphonso was the beloved son of the late Hezekiah and Georgiana Samuel. He was a devoted Christian, a loving husband, a dedicated father, and a cherished member of his Inspire Church community. His unwavering faith in God guided him, and he lived each day with kindness, humility, and a servant’s heart.

He was welcomed into Heaven by those who passed before him, including his parents and his beloved siblings, Brothers: Ernest, Charlesworth, Alburn, and Caleb; and Sisters: Glendora and Velma.

Alphonso’s life was a testament of strength, a source of unwavering encouragement, and a man whose legacy of love will endure for generations. He was a man of humility, and always ready to offer a kind word or a helping hand. Though we grieve, we do so with hope, knowing that he has received his Heavenly reward, where there is no more pain, only joy in the presence of the Lord.

“Well done, good and faithful servant...enter into the joy of your Lord.”
Matthew 25:23
