It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Todd Jones, age 38, who left us on January 16, 2025. He was the beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, whose legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Born on February 12, 1986, in Houston, Texas, to Peter and Lucinda Jones. William was the youngest of five children and grew up in a household full of love and laughter. With him being the baby brother, he shared unbreakable bonds with his siblings.

From the early days of them changing diapers to the shared moments of playing games, football, and baseball, basketball, dancing and just having a great time, Will was always surrounded by family. William grew up in Missouri City, Texas where he went to Edgar Glover Elementary, Missouri City Middle School and then later graduated from Hightower High School. After graduating high school, he started his collegiate career at Debry University for Computer Science. He also had aspirations of joining the military. In

September 2003, William was blessed with a daughter, Amya Boyd. At all family functions you could find William behind the camera capturing unforgettable moments and correcting his mom on how to use the video camera.

William was a fighter, both on and off the field. Whether it was defending his loved ones, supporting his family, or working hard to create a better future, he showed what it meant to be a true Jones — resilient, strong, and loving.

He is proceeded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents, his father, Peter Jones (Sr), sister, Jeanine Jones, son, William Todd Jones Jr.
