Mrs. Tamika LaShanda Asberry

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend

Tamika Lashonda Harris-Asberry was born January 9, 1982, to Marvin Ray Harris and the late Peggy Weimer Harris.

Her favorite people were her mother, Peggy, and her Spouse, Cassaundra.
She was always very smart and a very hard worker. She became a Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) and worked over 14 years in the field.

She had three children and a big personality. She loved to pray over her children and family. She made sure they went to church as children, and if they didn’t attend in person, they watched church services on TV. She had the gift of tongues and spoke in the heavenly language to the Lord.

Tamika was always fashionable in her attire, wearing makeup with clothes that would tell you about her before she even started talking. She was big on style and loved to sing in the shower. She loved dancing with her kids on her good days, loved taking pictures to catch memories on camera, and she was big on writing personal summaries in her diary. She was devoted to helping the homeless and giving to charities for those in need. Her place of peace was at the water…just watching the waves and talking to God.

Tamika departed this life on October 14, 2024, after a battle with breast cancer.

Tamika rededicated her life to Christ, and she made peace with God, before she transitioned.
