Mr. Jimmy Brown, Sr.

Our beloved father, Jimmy Lee Brown, Sr. was born on September 13, 1955, to Mable L. & Robert L. Johnson. He recently joined The Point Christian Outreach Ministries in Houston, Texas under the leadership of Dr. Carey L. Baker, Pastor.

Jimmy attended school at Victory and Jefferson Public School Systems. Later he moved to Houston, Texas and was employed by Brown and Ruth. He was later self-employed until his retirement. His favorite hobby was talking about sports and trash talking. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Bettie Smith and to this union 5 children were born. He also had 3 additional children.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, Robert Johnson; a daughter, Leeza Martinez; and a son, Marcus Brown.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories, six children, Michael Smith (Rachel) of Conroe, Texas, Jimmy Brown (Rekeita) of Lancaster Texas, Tolesia Davis (Craig), Colita Brown (Desmond) and Alvin Johnson (Jennifer), all of Jefferson, Texas and Jerry Martinez (Denisse), Houston, Texas; his mother, Mable L. Johnson; four brothers, Robert Johnson, Jr., Johnny Johnson (Aretha), Bobby Johnson (Gisel) and Paul Johnson, all of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Barbra Johnson (Jay) and Tina Johnson (Jose) both of Houston, Texas; nineteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
